DelvoTest T milk test

DelvoTest T mini milk test

  • A simple test to assess the suitability of the milk.
  • Worldwide, the DelvoTest is the most used antibiotic residue test!
  • The Delvotest is a standard diffusion test that can detect residues of antibacterial substances, such as antibiotics and sulfonamides, in milk.
  • The test consists of ampoules containing a solid agar medium. If milk without antibiotics is added to the test ampoules, germination and growth of the bacteria will occur. This causes a color change: from purple to yellow.
  • If the milk contains too much antibiotics, there will be no growth of the bacteria in the ampoule: the color remains purple. In this way, it is quick and easy to assess whether milk contains too high a concentration of antibiotics.
  • Usage: inject 0.1 ml from the milk sample into the ampoule with the pipette. Place the ampoule in the incubator at 64C for 3 hours and 15 minutes.
  • Store the ampoules in a dark, cool place between 4C and 15C.
  • With higher sensitivity to tetracyclines than other microbial screening tests.
  • Dosage syringe with 25 disposable pipettes for sampling.
  • Detection of antibiotics and sulfonamides in milk.
  • Result is easy to read by color change of the gel in the ampoule.
  • The DelvoTest can be used for milk from cattle, sheep, and goats.
  • Tests are only reliable if stored dark and cooled.
  • Packaging unit: 5, 10, or 25 pieces
